What DocuSign says its plans include
Read from DocuSign eSignature plans and pricing on 14 October 2026. Prices differ by region and currency, so we quote what each plan includes rather than what it costs. Check their page for the price where you are.
- Personal, for one user: “Send 5 envelopes per month.” To send more, DocuSign’s page points you to an upgrade.
- Standard and Business Pro, priced per user: “Send a total of 100 envelopes per user per year” on an annual plan. A monthly plan carries a smaller allowance, which their FAQ puts at ten envelopes per user per month — described rather than quoted here, because that figure lives in the FAQ and not in the plan itself. Envelopes beyond the allowance are billed per envelope, which the same FAQ calls “Pay-As-You-Go”.
- On every one of those plans: reusable templates, notifications and reminders, and a signing workflow.
- Business Pro only: bulk send and payments.
- Not on these three plans: remote online notary.
Not sure the figures are still right? Pricing changes, and if the date above is old, trust their page and not this one. If you notice we are out of date, tell us and we will fix it, usually within 24 hours.
Where SignaCore is different
- No envelope allowance on a paid plan. There is no counter to watch and nothing extra to buy. The Free plan sends five documents a month, and sending one document to several people counts once.
- One completed copy for each person. Send one form to twenty people and twenty filled documents come back, each made the moment that person signs.
- It reads the PDF first. Existing form fields are kept. On a flat PDF SignaCore proposes where the signatures, initials and values go, and you correct it rather than placing every box yourself. That is on every plan, including Free.
- Recipients are never charged or counted. A plan covers the people in your organization who send. An emailed code to verify a recipient is included on every plan, not sold as an add-on.
- The evidence is part of the file. Every completed copy carries a certificate of completion with who signed, when, from what address, and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the document as uploaded.
When DocuSign is the better choice
We would rather you found this out here than after paying.
- You need a template library with categories and governance. SignaCore lets a workspace save and reuse prepared documents, but does not yet offer a curated library, categories or approval controls.
- You need a signing order. SignaCore can send configurable reminders, but everybody on a document can sign at once. A sender fills their own fields before sending rather than being one step in a sequential workflow.
- You need to collect payment, or notarize. SignaCore does neither.
- You need identity checks beyond email. SignaCore verifies by email code only: no SMS, no photo ID, no knowledge-based checks.
- Signing has to start inside another system. SignaCore has a small integration catalogue and no public API.
- You need a certification. SignaCore holds no SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO or PCI certification. What we can say instead.
Questions people ask
Is SignaCore a full replacement for DocuSign?+
For some businesses, no. SignaCore has reusable templates and configurable reminders, but not signing order, bulk send or payment collection. It is a replacement when what you do is send PDFs to people who should not need an account, and you would rather not count envelopes.
Does SignaCore limit how many documents I can send?+
The Free plan sends five documents a month. Paid plans have no sending allowance. Sending one document to several people counts as one document.
Do my signers need a SignaCore account?+
No, and there is no signer account to create. They sign from the emailed link and receive their own completed copy.
Can I bring my DocuSign templates across?+
No. SignaCore does not import DocuSign templates or envelopes. You can save a prepared SignaCore document as a reusable template, then start a new document with its PDF and fields already in place.
