Most of this takes one answer.
Two kinds of people end up here: somebody who was sent a document and wants to be finished with it, and a team sending documents out. Start with whichever you are.
You were sent a document
Open the link in the email, enter the code sent to that address, and fill in the fields marked for you. There is no account to create. The common problems are here.
You are sending documents
Upload the PDF, check what was detected, add recipients, send. Preparing and sending covers the rest, and plans and billing covers the account.
You were sent a document
You do not need a SignaCore account, a password, or an app. If you have the email, you have everything.
The code never arrived
The code goes to the same address the document was sent to, and it usually lands within a minute. If it has not:
- Look in spam and in any promotions or quarantine folder your mail provider uses.
- Ask for a new one. The button is on the same screen, and it becomes available again sixty seconds after the last send.
- Check you are opening the link on the address it was sent to. A forwarded link still sends its code to the original address.
If nothing arrives after two attempts, the fastest route is the person who sent you the document. They can see whether it left and send it again.
The code says it has expired
A code is good for ten minutes. After that it stops working and you need a new one, which the same screen will send you. Codes are single documents, not accounts, so an expired code costs you nothing but the wait.
The link says it has expired
Signing links last seven days by default. When one expires the document is still there and nothing you entered is lost, but the link has to be sent again by whoever sent it. There is no way to extend a link from the signing page itself, which is deliberate: the expiry is part of what makes the link safe to email.
Do I need an account to sign?
No, and there is not one to create. SignaCore has no signer account. The code sent to your email address is the whole of the identity check, and when you are finished there is nothing to log back in to. If a site asks you to create an account before you can sign a SignaCore document, it is not SignaCore.
Where is my copy of what I signed?
It is emailed to you, as a PDF attachment, to the address you verified. SignaCore produces it the moment you submit rather than waiting for anyone else to finish, so it should reach you within a minute or two.
If several people were sent the same document, you receive yourcompleted copy with your answers on it, not a shared page carrying everybody’s.
I filled something in wrongly and already submitted
Tell whoever sent it. They can send the request again, and your new submission replaces what you entered before. You cannot reopen a submitted document from your side, which is the point of a submission.
Can I sign on my phone?
Yes. The signing page is built for a phone as much as a laptop, signatures can be drawn with a finger, and there is nothing to install. Use the browser that opens the link.
Sending documents
Preparing a PDF, checking what was detected, sending it, and fixing it when it comes back wrong.
What files can I upload?
PDF, up to 25 MB, is what you send for signature. A PDF that already has form fields keeps them; a flat one is examined for likely places to sign, initial, or type.
DOCX, up to 10 MB, can be imported into the document editor if you would rather write the document here than bring a finished one.
How does field detection work, and can I trust it?
Two different things happen depending on the file. If the PDF carries real form fields, those are read directly and placed exactly where the document says. If it is flat, the page layout is examined — rules, captions, boxes, the shape of a table — and fields are proposed where one is likely to belong.
Treat the second kind as a draft rather than an answer. After an upload you are shown what was found, and nothing is sent to anybody until you have looked at it. Fields can be moved, resized, retyped, marked required, deleted, or added where the document needed one and none was proposed.
Sending one document to several people
Add each recipient and assign fields to them. Everyone gets their own link, verifies their own address, and sees only the fields that are theirs.
Each of them also gets their own completed copy. Sending one form to twenty people gives you twenty filled documents, one per person — not one page carrying twenty sets of answers.
Somebody filled it in wrongly
Resend that person’s signing request from the document’s signer list. They get a fresh link and a fresh code, and what they submit replaces what was there. The history keeps both, so the correction is a recorded event rather than a quiet overwrite.
Stopping a document that should not have gone out
Void it. The outstanding links stop working, and the document is marked as void rather than deleted, because a document that was sent is a thing that happened. Copies already emailed to people who had finished are theirs and are not recalled — nothing can recall an email.
Where do completed documents end up?
Each completed PDF is stored, encrypted, in your workspace archive, and a copy is emailed to the recipient who produced it. Your team is also emailed as each person finishes, so progress reaches you rather than waiting to be checked.
Your workspace and plan
What each plan includes, and the account questions that come up most.
What is included in each plan?
- Free— five documents a month, the document editor, field detection, email verification for recipients, and the completed archive.
- Professional— unlimited documents, with no envelope allowance to watch, plus the audit history.
- Business— everything above plus workspace members and roles, billed per active workspace user.
- Enterprise— a custom agreement, for volumes and reviews that need one.
Current prices are on the pricing section of the homepage. Nobody you send a document to is charged, counted as a member, or asked to register.
Changing or cancelling a plan
Billing lives in the workspace, under Billing, which opens the Stripe customer portal for payment methods, invoices, plan changes, and cancellation. Cancelling leaves your completed documents where they are.
Adding people to the workspace
Workspace members are part of the Business plan. Invite them from the Team page; each invitation goes to an email address and creates a member, with a role, when it is accepted. Active workspace users are what Business billing counts — recipients of documents are not.
I cannot sign in to my workspace
If you created the account with Google or Apple and are now trying a password, you may not have one yet. Use forgotten your passwordand set one — that works whether or not a password ever existed.
If sign-in says the account is not verified, open the verification email, or ask for another from the same screen. You can only verify by email, which is why the address matters more than the password.
Security and your data
What is encrypted, who can reach it, and what we will not do with it.
How are documents stored?
Original PDFs, completed PDFs, and signature images are stored as encrypted ciphertext rather than readable files, and signer details, entered values, and IP records are encrypted in the database. They are decrypted briefly, inside the service, to detect fields, render an authorised preview, produce the completed PDF, and deliver it. Trust & data sets out the full boundary, including the parts we do not claim.
Is a SignaCore signature legally binding?
SignaCore records what an electronic signature usually needs: that the recipient verified control of the email address, when they signed, from where, and exactly which document they submitted. Whether a given agreement is enforceable still depends on the document, the parties, and the law where it applies, and nothing on this page is legal advice.
Do you use our documents to train AI?
No. Document contents are not sold and are not used to train models. If AI-assisted features are ever introduced, the data flow, the provider boundary, retention, and the opt-in have to be published before any customer document is sent to a model.
None of that was your question.
Write to us and a person will read it. Say which document or workspace you mean and we can usually answer in one reply rather than three. We reply as soon as we can, usually within 24 hours.
