Cost and limits
Cheaper alternatives to DocuSign
It depends on which part of DocuSign you are paying for. If it is notarization, identity verification you can buy per check, payments inside the document, or deep CRM integration, nothing cheap replaces it. If it is sending PDFs for signature, several tools do that for less and without an envelope allowance - and that allowance is usually the real cost people are reacting to.
What DocuSign costs and allows
Read from DocuSign's own pricing page on 6 October 2026: Personal is $11 a month for five envelopes a month. Standard is $30 per user a month and Business Pro $45, both allowing 100 envelopes per user per year.
On top of the plan, SMS delivery starts at $0.36 a delivery and identity verification at $2.40 an attempt. Payments are on Business Pro and above; notarization is on their enhanced plans.
When DocuSign is still right
If a document has to be notarized, if you need identity checks beyond an email code, if you take payment inside the document, or if signing has to start from inside Salesforce, DocuSign has those and the cheaper tools generally do not. Including SignaCore.
What you give up going cheaper
Usually the integration catalogue and the add-on identity services. Sometimes the mobile app. Often the enterprise administration.
SignaCore gives up all of those. What it offers instead is field detection on flat PDFs on every plan including the free one, a completed copy per signer the moment they submit, no envelope allowance on a paid plan, and nothing charged per use. The full list of what it does not do is on the comparison page, deliberately.
Figures belonging to other companies were read from their own pages on 6 October 2026 and are listed with their sources on the comparison page. Pricing changes; if that date is old, trust the sources and not us.
Try it on a real document.
Five documents a month are free and it asks for no card. Whoever you send to signs without creating an account.
